RHS AWARD OF GARDEN MERIT 2012
Some 60 or more perfect petals make up a single flower of rose pink with a deeper reverse of almost magenta. Strong fragrance, healthy, dark green leaves and an upright habit make this climber a must for pillars or obelisks. Bred in 1949 by Boerner, this rose has The New Dawn as an ancestor.
NB: Pippin is a good substitute and, although its fragrance is a little less strong, it has much better health.
