ONCE-FLOWERING HISTORIC ROSE; PINK
Grown mainly for its grey-purple foliage. The flowers are small, pink and fleeting, turning to attractive hips in the autumn.
Rosa glauca (also known as Rosa rubrifolia) is grown primarily for its greyish-purple leaves and almost thornless purple-red stems. Single small, rose pink flowers are fleeting but are followed in autumn by attractive, almost globular dark red hips. A great flower arranging rose. Makes a perfect wild life hedge. A native of central and southern Europe.
