Type & Colour
ONCE-FLOWERING HISTORIC ROSE; PINK
In Brief
Also known as Queen of Denmark, this rose will tolerate poorer soils. It produces heavy clusters of full, deep pink flowers with an exquisite fragrance in mid-summer.
More Detail
Tight buds open to flattish flowers packed with deep pink petals that can reach up to 8cm across and are exquisitely fragranced. Heavy clusters of blooms appear in mid-summer, so heavy they cause the stems to arch over until they almost touch the ground. Attractive leaves are deep bluish-green. Will tolerate poor soils and is highly prized as a specimen shrub. Bred by Booth in Denmark in 1816.
