The glossy, fern-like foliage has the scent of incense, especially in damp conditions.Rosa primula was discovered in 1911 in Samarkand and grows wild throughout the region. Needs plenty of space around it and is best planted in a sheltered spot as it takes a little while to get going. Bees love it!
