Delivery Information and Costs

PLEASE NOTE: NO DELIVERIES ARE MADE OUTSIDE MAINLAND UK.

We have two methods of delivery depending upon whether the roses are potted or bare root. We are sorry but we only ship to Mainland UK.

  • Potted roses can be ordered for delivery all year round.
  • Bare root/field grown roses can be ordered for delivery from November to February only. Orders placed in October & November have a lead time of 4-5 weeks. Bare root roses are not available from April to November.

Orders Containing Potted Roses – Mainland UK.

Potted roses are shipped all year round.

You can order your potted roses all year round.

All containerised (potted) roses will be despatched via a carrier using their overnight service. Orders required for a specific date must be received before 11.00 AM the previous day. Delivery days are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday of each week (no collections or deliveries are made at weekends and Bank Holidays). Similarly, our carrier does not collect from the nursery on Bank Holidays either, therefore delivery days will be adjusted accordingly. Please specify which day you would prefer and we will do our very best to ensure the package arrives on your chosen day.

The potted rose delivery costs are:

1 rose (5lt pots)

4 mini roses (1lt pots)

£12.00

2 roses (5lt pots)

3 roses (5lt pots)

£10.00

£13.00 plus £3.00 for each plant thereafter

Potted orders to the following postcodes will incur a £3.00 surcharge (bare root deliveries as normal):
PO30-41 (Isle of Wight)

Potted orders to the following postcodes will incur a £10.00 surcharge.
AB1-99, DD8-11 ,FK8-21, IV, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH

Potted orders to offshore islands (excluding Isle of Wight): Please phone for a quote.

Collecting Orders From Our Nursery

If you would prefer to collect your order direct from either our Hampshire or Cornwall nursery, please indicate this at the time of ordering. Bare rooted roses are available for collection from November to February, however supply times will vary depending on what your order contains. Please phone at least 24 hours before collecting your order to ensure your plants are ready and to allow time for packaging.

Orders Containing Bare Root (field grown) Roses – Mainland UK.

Bare Root roses are shipped November to February only

You can pre-order your bare roses all year round, but fulfilment and delivery of your order will not take place until November to February.

Bare root orders placed in November will be subject to a short delay as we have to dig our roses out of the field to fulfil your order!
For field grown (bare root) roses, delivery is cheaper because the roses, when dormant, are much lighter, less bulky packages. We begin lifting bare root/field grown roses in November and start with the earliest orders. This means that roses ORDERED at the peak time of lifting and despatching (Oct/Nov) will be subject to a delay of between 4-5 weeks. After clearing back orders, from December onwards orders should be despatched within five to seven working days of receipt.

The bare root roses delivery costs are:

1-4 roses £6.50

5+ roses £10.00

Delivery of bare root plants is usually by APC carriers or Royal Mail but we are unable to guarantee a specific delivery day. There is no harm done to the roses during this period as they are completely dormant.

Orders Not Containing Roses – Mainland UK.

For orders not containing roses these are charged as outlined in the delivery charges table below.

This includes items such as gift vouchers, shampoos & soaps, rose care products.

The delivery costs are:

Gift Vouchers £2.00

Toiletries, Gifts, Sweets & Rose Care products £4.50

If these items are purchased as part of a potted or bare root rose order then just the rose delivery charge is charged.

We only ship to Mainland UK.

All delivery charges are calculated and shown at checkout before completing purchase. We reserve the right to adjust delivery charges should the incorrect carriage charge be charged due to a technical difficulty with our website.
