A close relative of Rosa rugosa, this shrub bears clusters of pure white, semi-double flowers with a pervasive scent (even at night). Flowers throughout summer and autumn, occasionally producing hips if not dead-headed. Excellent disease-resistance. Foliage is dark and leathery and the plant will reach about 1.5m. The raiser of this rose was a native of Coubert, hence its name.
